Saturday, 21 March 1761 (Bath Chronicle) Ann Giles indicted for arson in maliciously setting fire to and burning a barn, the property of James Paylon, in the parish of Speen on 17th December 1760. Her burial is recorded in the Burial Register for the parish of Speen on 25th March 1761 (a Wednesday) so she was probably hanged on the preceding Saturday.
